I bow to You, O God,
Who appears in the astonishing form of Narasimhadeva,
half man and half lion.
For Your ever joyful devotee Prahlad, You are the source of joy.
Your fingernails are just like chisels
on the stone-like chest of the demon Hiranyakashipu.
Nrisimhadeva is here and Nrisimhadeva is there.
Wherever I may go, Lord Nrisimhadeva is there.
Lord Nrisimhadeva is far away on the outside,
but He is also in my own heart.
I surrender to Lord Nrisimhadeva,
who is the Origin of everything and the Supreme Shelter.
