The author states: I wrote this prayer recently for our home and then commissioned an artist to paint the poem on a canvas that now hangs above our table. These words now hover over us as we eat together. I conceived of the table as a tablet upon which all our conversations and all that transpired around that table would be recorded, as on an artist's canvas, and I titled it “Collaboration.”
